my first fursuit

<< < (2/15) > >>

Stereo Fox:
i was gonna use the balaclava/foam method, but decided this would be lighter and cooler to wear.

picked up a few useful tips from matrices.net for the basis of this.

gonna be making a start on the footpaws soon, as my old faithful trainers are on their last legs, so i'm donating them to the cause.

having to remake the handpaws, didnt like how they turned out, think ill get hold of some cheap gloves and use them as a base this time.

this weekend i'm gonna start searching the charity shops for a grey pinstripe suit (coat, trousers) and a trilby hat.

Stereo Fox:
i've just about got the foot paw bases finished and the hands are ready to stitch up.

The tail is getting sew together over this weekened by a friend.

All that leaves is for me to sort the head out.

Stereo Fox:
got my tail back today, shes done a top class job on sewing it together, just need to find something to stuff it with then i can mount it to the belt i have for it.

SFW:
You could try that TeddyBear factory place, I don't know if you can buy top up stuffing from them. Failing that core foam works and is a cheap option from DIY places.

I don't have anything here that would do for a tail, just fur sections really.

Stereo Fox:
i was thinking about using the foam from my old bolster pillow, its not overly heavy, should hold its shape and be comfy to sit on.

if not, the quid shop near me has some kids cuddly toys that are quite big, may get some of them for the stuffing.
