i dont know if its just me but i'm getting rather excited about the con this year, not only it being my first furry con, but my first con ever.

plus i should have my fursuit made by then too (paws crossed)

It will be my first furry con too!
I have attended Games conventions here in Ireland many times, but never a furry con before.
So Yes, I am looking forward to it, and I too hope to have a fursuit finished in time, or at least the head plus hand and foot paws.

Confuzzled is a good convention to start out at as it's not overwhelming like the larger US cons for a first experience. People are friendly and there are different things happening to suit different tastes.

My advice would be to pick out the event you definately want to go to and plan around them for other things like going to the dealers den a few times that way you will see the things you want to and still have spare time to do nothing.

Also, if you are planning on giving commissions to people to do, print out your reference sheets in advance so you can just hand them out with your contact details on. It makes it easier to produce the artwork and if it's not finished in time they have your details to let you know how it gets on.

I'd also suggest that you visit the event about going to your first convention. It offers some handy tips, advice on things and is a good starting point.

i very excited this is my second con but my first time at confuzzled. I went to RBW2010 which was amazing.
I am so looking foward to going to CF2011 as i will have my partial by then, YAYYY.

I still find it odd that of the conventions I've been to, none have been RBW and that's the closest one. Work seems to always get in the way of going to it. Hopefully this year I can keep the weekend free and make three conventions in a year.
