Shy small scottish squirrel says hi
« on: September 27, 2011, 17:43:01 »
Hi there. My Name is Gemma, or Gem for short and I've been really really wanting to go to this con since I heard about it over a year ago, but i'm super shy and don't think I know anyone except fionacat. And well, I was just kinda hoping to make a few friends here first before I jumped into the expense of attending a con halfway across the country

I'm toddlergirl over on FA and as the name probably suggests im primarily a babyfur  and babyfur artist (I know some people dont like that sorta stuff so i'll be quiet about it, but im not creepy honest,  I think being a short young looking girl means I can kinda get away with that sorta thing more) I also crochet very well and am about to jump headfirst into trying to make my first yarn tail (cause a squirrel without a tail is a sad affair indeed)  and suchlike which im quite excited about. So yay yay!

Anyway I hope I can make some friends so that it'll be more fun to go to the con cause I wouldn't wanna go on my own.

*hugs*

Gem

Welcome, hope you decide to take the plunge and join us at next!

In the meantime welcome and hoepfully you can make some friends here, it does tend to be quiet this time of year unless people are asking questions but it picks up as we get closer to the con happening.
I for one welcome our Muppet overloards.

Ah, this explains why I thought I'd replied to the welcome thread. I replied here before and not on UKFur.
