Weapons

Sorry if I've missed this elsewhere but are we allowed weapons as part of our theme costumes? With movies as the theme I suspect there will be lots of people turning up with swords and guns etc and just wanted to check what the rules were. (There is a post about it from a few years ago but as it's in a different hotel the rules might be different)

If the weapon looks like a real gun i.e immitation, then it is forbidden.  If you have weapons such as nerf guns, and plastic swords, these are acceptable, but must be presented on request for inspection.  They must be visibly obvious that they are toys as opposed to replicas.

Can I assume that re-enactment weapons are band? bows?
How about a dedicated page on the website for this subject, you might need it for this year.
