Train reservations are NOW OPEN!
« on: March 11, 2013, 22:16:18 »
Good evening,

For the benefit of those travelling to the convention by train, most companies are now accepting reservations up to 31st May, so you can now book for your trip to the con. Reservations for the return dates should be available from Thursday or Friday of this week.

Sample Advance Single fares:
  • London Euston - Nuneaton : From £6.00 (London Midland)
  • Sheffield - Hinckley : From £4.50 (CrossCountry)
  • Manchester Piccadilly - Hinckley : From £8.50 (CrossCountry)
  • Leeds - Hinckley : From £17.00 (CrossCountry)
  • Southampton Central - Nuneaton : From £13.00 (CrossCountry)
  • Preston - Nuneaton : From £9.50 (Virgin Trains)
  • Edinburgh - Nuneaton : From £21.00 (CrossCountry)
Advance tickets are subject to availability and must be booked by 23:59 the day before travel. There are no refunds available, and changes to travel plans cost £10 per leg PLUS any difference in fares. If you miss the booked train and it's not the rail industry's fault your ticket has no value and you will need to buy a new one.

Tickets can be booked through numerous websites, at stations, by phone and at some travel agents. If booking online, it's generally best to do so through the relevant company's site as they may offer a discount for doing so that a 3rd party site won't. Also, TOC sites tend not to charge booking or card fees, whereas "independent" sites do.
