Difficulty With Badge Pic

I've tried several times over the past few weeks but I can't get my badge image to upload.
I select the pic I want from my desktop, then press 'Upload New' but nothing happens.
Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?
It's no big deal if I can't get a pic, I suppose. I would like one, though.

As an aside, I posted this earlier but my thread vanished. I'm obviously jinxed as regards this

What browser are you using? I encountered a problem using IE, but it worked fine when I used Firefox.

I'm using IE. Will try another browser to see if it helps.

That said... I just uploaded a Fursuit Badge pic without any problems using IE.

ADDENDUM: Just used Firefox to submit a standard badge pic with no problems.

I think it's something to do with the way IE handles the drop down boxes and other things on the CF site. But I always find Firefox seems to work with it, not had any problems uploading images used FF this year.
