Shuttle bus/train times.
« on: May 20, 2013, 21:27:04 »
Hello again!

I've started to get myself organised for next week, checking trains times and what not. Ffff, my train gets in at 13:53. Does anyone have any experience with the shuttle buses? Are they relatively punctual (obviously they can't control the traffic but just generally)? And how long do they actually wait at the train station before heading off? I don't want to miss the shuttle bus but waiting around for nearly two hours if I got the earlier train doesn't sound very fun either D:! Thanks for reading!

Looks like we'll be on the same train.
I hope we can catch the shuttle anyway. Else we could share a cab.

Hi Neithie,

Given that you did not mention your train station, I presume you will be disembarking at Nuneaton.  A list of the time tables can be found here:

Whilst I know that does not really answer your question about pick up times and reliability, its actually as you stated that it really does depend on the traffic.  Last year, it was on time and prompt and we had no complaints, so likewise we hope for a similar and reliable service this year.

Many thanks,

Rizzo

Thanks for the replies guys!

Vector, possibly! Which was are you heading from?

Thanks Rizzo, I know it was a bit of a silly question. I'm just hoping it'll wait a minute or two so I can get sorted and out of the station x.x!

Not very fun to wait 2 hours under the rain and no shuttle... I finally shared a taxi from Nuneaton train station.

The shuttle time tables were posted on the website and this included a lunch break for the bus driver.  This really is down to the attendee to check the website in advance.  Of course for next year, this will no longer be an issue, and one of the reasons behind moving is the additional cost of putting on the shuttle service.
