Bring your jetpack and moonboots for a weekend of retro sci-fi shenanigans to celebrate the future that never was!

So! It's official, welcome to The World of Tomorrow!

Time to get planning, how are you going to theme yourself for next year?

Is this retro sci-fi or retro futurism? Because if it is the former, I want to go as Rocket Raccoon from his original debut.

i'd say pretty much a 1950s view of the future; nuclear-powered flying cars, robots in every home, and interstellar space travel and that kinda thing

I think that Phil Fletcher, a british puppeteer from CBBC & puppet builder, would make an awesome GoH.  ;)

Are the dates on the site wrong, or will the con really be going from Friday to Tuesday? Seems a little strange to end on a Tuesday.

The dates are correct. Monday 26th is the Spring Bank Holiday - so I guess they're making best use of it :)

Yep, that's right - the dates are shifted slightly so that it takes advantage of the UK Spring Bank Holiday.
