Auctioning Fan Art at the Art Show
« on: November 20, 2013, 15:05:39 »
Last year (2013), a friend of mine spotted how some of the work in the art show, which was auctioned, was effectively fan art - featuring elements owned by other parties. I would like to know if this is allowed by the Confuzzled team or if specific permissions needed to be obtained for use of the visual media in art works that are being sold as a one-time charitable auction. I don't know if permissions are different on using visual media from other parties if the final publication is one time only rather than mass production.

Would anyone be able to provide some help?
