Lending Console to Games Room

As I did last year, I would like to volunteer a console and some games to the games room for the convention.

I have the following console and games I am willing to bring;

Wii U

Nintendo Land
Wii Party U
Injustice Gods Among Us
Rabbids Land
Just Dance 4
Just Dance 2014
Just Dance 2015
Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed
Bayonetta 2
Mario Party 10
Wii Sports
Boom Blox

As well as these, I'm bringing the following PS3 games
Little Big Planet 2
Little Big Planet 3
Ratchet and Clank All 4 One

Is there someone I have to contact to properly submit them?

Thanks for the offer Morbius, however due to lack of staff and timeslots in the schedule this year, we won't be running any kind of open video games room this year.

There will be some tournament events for Mario Kart 8 and Smash Brothers which we'll be announcing sign-ups for soon.

I'm afraid all the rooms are already in use for evening events and its now too late to make such changes to the schedule.

Hi there,

To elaborate on Nido's comments.

ConFuzzled 2015 will not have a dedicated room for those playing video games during the entire convention this year.

We have a limited supply of rooms available, and a limited supply of staff able to setup and look after these rooms. Without someone from staff involved and no fixed inventory, we don't have any particular coverage from any insurance of our event, so if all your donated equipment goes missing or has beer poured over it, we aren't able to do anything to help.

Because of the lack of rooms, risk to donated equipment and the lack of staff, we chose instead to provide more video game competitions and structured events this year, which we find are more popular and easy to look after.

If you want to get involved with ConFuzzled, as well as the formal staff and crew recruitment through the year, we look for volunteers from the attendees to offer some hours at the convention to help us manage the chaos that is ConFuzzled. If you want to get involved, please talk to Convention Operations at the con.

Are the hotel rooms equipped with TVs so we could run a game party from our own room?

There are indeed and they do have additional inputs on them. Please of course be careful when connecting your console and if you unplug anything, please reconnect it back before you check out.

And of course, you're welcome to take part in the gaming competition events we'll be running!
