As with last year, dealers will be able to unload their vehicles directly in to the Dealers' Den. However, there are a few more rules to follow this year that everyone needs to be aware of:
- You must sign in to the den and collect your dealer badge before you take your vehicle to the loading area
- The dealer badge will need to be shown to a member of CFz staff near the barriers to gain entry
- Anybody who is working in the loading area (this includes dealers and anybody who is helping them) must wear a Hi-Viz vest or jacket at all times. There will be no exceptions to this rule. While there is a footpath, this is an active delivery area for the hotel which is regularly used by vans and lorries. We and the hotel do not want anybody to get injured. If you do not own a Hi-Viz jacket, the Den team may be able to lend you some, though numbers are extremely limited.
- You must unload your vehicle in a timely manner.
- Once your vehicle has been unloaded, it must be moved immediately. You will not be allowed to leave your vehicle in place while you set up. The yard is quite narrow and we can't allow it to get clogged up.
- Similarly, if it starts to look like the yard is getting overcrowded, the convention retains the right to withdraw dealer access until the situation improves. Again, this is in the interests of everyone's safety.
- If you make use of the service yard, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. Neither ConFuzzled UK Ltd nor Hilton will accept any liability for loss or injury unless caused by our own negligence
The preliminary times for access are:
Friday 13:00 - 15:00 and 17:30 - 19:30
Sunday 17:30 - 19:00
No access will be permitted outside of these times. However, the Monarch Suite entrance at the front of the hotel provides direct access to the foyer outside the Dealers' Den.
