I think that's a troll :) And even if it weren't ... that must absolutely look hilarious for someone to read who didn't know what kind of event was going on that day :)

I don't think this was a troll but perhaps someone who was not happy to share the hotel with an active convention. Best to ignore and carry on.

Some person with a sense of priveledge who clearly can't grasp the hotel can't revolve around him.
