Until we know exactly where, this is undecided. I got an email back from the con staff saying we could use a small event room, but need to wait for further information.

If you don't know how to play, but are still interested, just message me.

It's for fun. So no advantage playing such as card counting. Or you... Forfeit... Your bet.

What you're trying to obtain?
Food.

For anyone who wishes to attend, please bring a snack that corresponds with the colour of the chips I will be using - Red, Green, Blue, Black, White

These will be pooled together, and any that hasn't been won by either dealer or player will be offered out after all of the games have been played and all bets settled
So, for example, a box of Celebrations or Quality Street would be perfect

There is also an option to take out a side bet -
Match the Dealer - Card matches dealer upward
In Bet - Dealer upcard is in between the value of the dealt two cards
Perfect Pairs - Players initial hand dealt is a pair
(This in turn is an additional win)

Insurance will be available (only if dealer upward is an Ace) - up to half your original bet is added

Surrender is also in force - You can back out after your hand is dealt, and forfeit half your original bet. This needs to be done verbally

Hand signals are preferred over just telling me as it's clearer and quicker
Hit - Tap table beside cards
Stand - Wave hand horizontally
Double down - (Double initial bet in exchange for standing after receiving exactly one more card) Place additional chips beside the original bet outside the betting box, and point with one finger

Extras
I will be dealing American blackjack, which allows the use of a hole card.
If you want to play in suit, you can, but without handpaws for dexterity sake
The dealer does appreciate tips, which can be signalled by a chip in front of the betting square

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask
