@Matt: Neat solution. Does it cost much?

The service I use for printing my photography is Photo Box, their prices are pretty reasonable I think, it rather depends on how many and what size you want the items printed.  Probably more expensive than buying a printer, but they print at photographic quality which is quite hard to reproduce with a consumer printer.

It can be. But for quality you have to pay. Might consider that option, might not.
