How did all you guys get round MC's requirement on having a duct-tape dummy for full suits? Everyone I know finds them a bitch to make, and then there's getting them sent over to the US in the first place without damage. :P

DTD's are easy to make really, so long as the person using the tape knows how to do it. :)

I've been DTD'd and helped do several others.  They really are easy to do, and there are ways to make it more comfortable for the "model".  Once done they are pretty easy to ship and store providing you haven't stuffed them.  Perhaps is something to demo (not the whole process) at Confuzzled?

I actually was the subject of a DTD panel at FC2006. It was quite funky.

Maybe we should do a quick demo on making one at ConFuzzled. :)

DTD's can be improvised.without using Ducttape.. Boiler suits or one-piece overalls can be used if you don't want the suit to be too tight ^_^ I think I'll just make mine a partial fursuit, Bust, paws head and tails, I also have to make one for my Friend who's also comming but she just wants ears tail and paws, which I can bang up within two or three days ^_^. woot

Ill hopefully be there, with my first fursuit (well, fursuit/lycra mix), Alize.  I havent got her yet unfortunetly, but my freind is sending her in the next week or so so expect a better pic then.  At the moment though I do have a screenshot from a vid she sent me of herself in it.

Whilst my health means a full blown Fursuit would be practically suicide I am attempting to design and build a wheelchair friendly set of removable prosthetic ears, tail, paws and my signature robe.

I use false teeth so I might see about getting a set of rodent teeth made if it's inexpensive and I suppose I could make a lightweight mask... not a full blown fur suit I know, but it should hopefully be a decent compromise :)

It would be relatively easy, I think, to take a cast of the false teeth, scuplt some enhancements, then cast a new set.  Easy that is compared with casting teeth still in one's head, and then doing all the fiddly bits around the gums and roof.

Good luck with the suit!
