Okay. For the people that don't know Manchester so well, directions to the Youth hostel can be found at http://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodation/north-west-cities/hostels/manchester/travel_info.aspx . If you are coming from abroad into Manchester Airport, there is a train that goes to Manchester Piccadilly Station. Sorry that the directions on this site aren't as detailed as the ones on the confuzzled site, it was the best we could find.
