You may have to refresh the page or clear your browser cache to see the new theme and dates (22nd to 25th May).

It's early days but I take it I could easily put down a deposit until I get my academic calender for Uni to see if the dates are clear?

Cheers.

Those dates are no longer on the website. You need to rewrite that part, it's missing from the front page.

Eh?

It's in the graphic at the top of every page.

So it is. I expected it to be in the text, eg:

Right now, we're still working on the ConFuzzled 2009 website so we hope you enjoy the website before registration for 2009's event, which is due to take place between May 22nd to May 25th, which starts on July 31st, 9pm.

*chuckles* so you look for the less obvious place first? ;)

Yes, Tungro, he does - because the graphics don't get sized up when you increase the font size ;) (yes, i'm aware some browsers do that)

Plus, of course, there is the minor notice that the more obvious and out of place something looks on a website, the less people look at it. Odd, but true :) (it has to do with people's by now seemingly ingrown ability to have blind spots in the same place where adverts sit)

It really should be in the body of the text too.  At the moment those dates are part of a background image, and there's no alt to make the information accessible.

*eyerolls* despite my hesitation, i'll add it to the front page because it seems people can't see a bit of information that's already there O;)

Excellent :)  This way it'll also be picked up by screenreaders and the like! And those using links/lynx or other text-only browsers... And search bots... etc :)

Thank you.

And I'm used to just seeing the banner image there, after reading the site many many times before this years con, and it is advert space usually
