Well, it's confirmed. The theme is retro sci-fi! That's a broad category to go for!

Feedback / Re: 2013 Shirt design
« on: August 19, 2013, 07:53:28 »
My only grievance about this year's shirt was that Confuzzled 2013 wasn't printed on it. The con staff did say they didn't do it deliberately so that people who were conscious about wearing a furry shirt in public. I think that next year the con staff should have the shirt come with an iron-on transfer, so people can iron on the logo for the con if they want to.

Also, maybe they should stock up on more XL and larger sizes. I wanted an XL but settled for a L; the XL was more so I could wear it outside my fursuit.

Feedback / Re: Hinckley Island Hotel Appreciation

I concur! Me and my friend sat for breakfast on the last day and one of the members of hotel staff came over and said they'd had such fun hosting us this year, they hadn't met such a friendly, fun-loving and well mannered group of people.

I'm so glad they even got involved by wearing the shirts for the con, I hope the Metropole staff will have as much fun.

It's a cloudy background for a new vision - space or sci-fi perhaps?

I do hope it's Superheroes and Villains, that's an easy one for every to do. Just wear a cap and mask and you're a hero!

Why do people need to be pushed? Either you want to have your art on display or not. I don't understand why people need to be pushed to do stuff...

Some people only really realise when they've been pushed.

Provided it doesn't clash with anything I want to attend, I'd love to go.

Events / Re: fursuiting twister

I never saw the Fursuit Twister, was it really chaotic doing those moves? :'(
There's only 2 Photo's I've seen online, but does anyone have a recording of the entire Event(from begining to end)?

It was fun.

I was quite impressed with the variety of the auction collection. It was a little small and I was expecting a little more NSFW, but hopefully the total for this year fundraising might inspire others to pick up their pencils and start sketching.

Also, a few more things I might add. Perhaps next year, consenting artists should considering having a card next to their work which lists the links to their respective art pages, such as Fur Affinity, deviant Art and other places, or perhaps even a QR code for people to scan so you can have a link directly to their portfolios. So if it does come from a lesser known artist, bidders can have a little look at their work just in case they might have seen other pictures belonging to that person (you never know).

Secondly, are the adult comic books in the adult section available anywhere to buy, like Rabbit Valley? If so, does anyone remember the titles? I think Genus Male was one, but I cannot remember the other.

Lastly, I think the spread was a little minimal; there were a LOT of gaps in the adult section that could have been filled. I think if I'd been pushed more for a picture I would definitely have submitted something, either for the normal categories or adult section. Since the artist auction is perhaps the largest contributor to the charity, it should be really pushed on the front page with something like "ART AUCTION SPACES OPEN - APPLY NOW!" on the front page. Make it stand out, because I thought it was private auction containing just pictures from the dealer's gallery.

Feedback / Re: The Queues ¬_¬

I did suggest at the Feedback Panel that next year, big events in the main hall are released on LiveStream, filmed from the back of the main stage for people who might not be able to sit in the main hall. Although this might not occur next year, thanks to the generous size of the venue, I still think it would be valid for events scheduled in the evening so that people can enjoy them from the comfort of their room, from the bar or from a nearby restaurant with WiFi.

Discussion / Where can I find Pawpets V?
« on: June 19, 2013, 13:58:05 »
Possibly one of the biggest parts of Confuzzled 2013, that is, based on queue size, was PawPets V: How to Drain Your Flagon. I didn't get a chance to get in because I had hot food with me and I would only have gotten a seat at the back, but did someone else film it?

I REALLY want to watch it and can't find it on Google or YouTube, but wonder if someone has filmed it and uploaded it somewhere. Has anyone done this?

Thanks.

I didn't know what to expect from the Artist's Alley, but it was a great place to go. If I didn't have hot food with me, I'd have stayed longer (didn't want to be inconsiderable by eating whilst people are sketching). If it's in a good place, I'll love it!
