Hmm, a suggestion - a star next to the bidsheets for the 100% items to make them stand out? You know, a small version of the ones you see in some shops saying "SALE!"  "25% off!"

Glad to have been involved from its very inception Furble! Always good to see the baby grow into a healthy adult :) So many people have tried to start conventions up in the UK and I'm glad to say that unlike those that have gone by, ConFuzzled is still going strong. Long Live ConFuzzled indeed!

Again, my personal opinion, not a CF opinion...

I see this the same way as holding a door open for someone. It's polite, it makes people happy. It's not necessarily a social norm. But it's also not mandatory.

Just like holding a door open for someone about to come through it, as a suiter I'd keep my head on until I'm out of the way. I CAN take my head off. I CAN let the door close. I choose not to.

Likewise, I also cannot expect everyone to hold open the door if I'm about to pass through. I'm glad when they do, but if they don't, I'm not going to kick up a fuss. Similarly, if a suiter walks around with their head off, I presume it's for a reason. I may prefer it if they had kept their head on but I'm not going to tell them off for doing so.

So, in short. I'd like to see people holding doors open for me. I'd like to see fursuiters with their heads on. I hold doors open for others about to come through. I keep my fursuit head on. I don't expect people to hold doors open for me. I don't expect fursuiters to always wear their heads.

There were some technical hitches this year too but if you didn't really notice them, then that's great  ;D

(the sound cue software actually crashed during the show, had to quickly recover it!)

Glad you enjoyed it, it was one of the more stressful ones from the Front of House's perspective (that's sound and light and video) but so rewarding in the end!

Yep, what was said is right. So just to clarify: only RESIDENTIAL attendees can use the leisure facilities for free. "Attending Only" and day tickets cannot use the facilities for free. You may be able to access the facilities for a fee though, please ask at the leisure facilities reception.

Hi,

Unfortunately it is too late now - the details have been submitted to the hotel and they've been paid, so it's all finalised.

Kind regards,

Hi,

I've found your email to the registration deks - it got attached to another ticket for some reason. I've split it out and contacted you on there, so we can continue via that method :) Also thanks to Bezel for pointing me to this thread!

Hi Rwylin,

I'm a little confused. You say you haven't had the automated email you usually get. Yet you hare a ref number, which is what you get given in the automated email?

We're running a little behind on tickets and are dealing with them. In addition, my computer's power supply died so that's taken me out of the equation temporarily (but I have a new one to install tonight when I get home).

If you can provide the ref number, I can at least confirm the email has been received (I'll check even though I'm at work) at the very least, and a member of the team will get to it shortly.

By the way, do you use Hotmail? Despite us jumping through so many of Microsoft's hoops, we're still finding it's marking ConFuzzled emails as junk mail. If you do use Hotmail, please add the registration at confuzzled dot org dot uk address to your contacts list so that our emails are more likely to make it through, and also please check your junk mail box regularly in case our emails are mistakenly identified as junk mail.

Kind regards,

-Tungro

Discussion / Re: Early reg question!

Hi!

We certainly intend to do an early registration desk option this year! I hope we can - it really helped cut down the queue on the main starting day last year. I guess it depends more on us not interfering with anything else going on at the hotel. We'll let you know via email the details closer to the convention.

Cheers,

Well, we are currently working our way through the list. We have about seventy or so people to contact and offer options - unfortunately it might mean it'll take a little while to sort everyone out. We're working on it though, so if your friend hasn't heard anything in the last few days then he should receive something in the next few days. To be safe though, it's best if he emails the Registration team from the same email address he registered with, and we can see about his earlier ticket (we can find it that way).

Hi,

They're MEANT to support transparency, but the last time the image software ate the transparency settings in the image i.e. ignored them. You're best NOT to use transparency, though we are looking at fixing the issue.

Yes, the negative numbers means there are people on the waiting list for single rooms (it's just how the stats page displays it that looks a little odd).
