Off-Topic / Re: Quick Question
« on: September 10, 2012, 19:15:48 »
Well, my mother has seen the rather tragic little fursuit I put together for myself and thinks I did a great job on it
My father is anything but total blind so I am guessing he has a reasonably good idea.
I have never mentioned furries, or the fandom to either them them though but with that said my mother actually booked the plane tickets for me to get to confuzzled last year XD
plus when I failed to get my driving license (for about the third time) she was the one that had to be in the car with me whenever I drove into town to get materials, She is also the one that gave me basic instruction on how to use a sewing machine, ohh and... yeah. I think there are lots of ways that these things become obvious to the people :P

Cursico likes purple too! I have never run into anyone else that loved purple ^.^
I also like Luminous yellow! not regular yellow, Luminous yellow!
and silver. Does silver count as a colour?
I think that basically translates to Bright +  Shiny.

As for dreams... Most of my dreams tend to involve being eaten by things... Oh wait, dreams as in aspirations! yes. I have those.
I want to finish college!
for the second time!
and then go back to college!
Maybe get a Masters... And then a Doctorate!
Dr. Lost Cause! I like the sound of that.
The Real world is a scary place. I am staying in the educational system!

Throwing all things to the wind and hoping for the future I would like to become a brain in a jar!
Yes! Then I could commission a load of different mechanical bodies be manufactured, which my jar can be slotted into allowing me to pick the body that fits my mood every morning and pilot it about for the day!
That would be fun.

But for this moment that is all a long way off!
Right now what I really want is a cup of coffee... that will be number 8... in 3 hours.
Wow. No wonder it feels like it has been seven AM for the last eternity.

<snips the quotes down>
...I noticed a fair amount of people walking around the con space with their fursuit heads off.
I think this is more up to the fursuiter than any other. I for one, do not want to be seen without my head,
<finishes snipping>

Hey! Some of us are still relatively new to the whole fursuit thing. (Has now finally spent over 24 /non consecutive/ hours in suit)
Not everyone has the constitution to stick through things until they have an opportunity to slip out unnoticed. I had to run in the middle of one event, getting out before I passed out >.<
Hay fever also ment I was deathly afraid of sneezing in my head (again) and ended up taking it off several times while hiding away somewhere in order to be sure that didn't happen.
It's meant to be fun for everyone no? Even those of us that can barely stand after ninety minutes.

Actually Aurora, There was a little sign in the bathroom (at least my room's bathroom) that if you stuck your towels on the rack they would not be change but if you left them anywhere else they would be.
considering I had between two and three showers a day, the daily change of towels was good for me...

The food was great, the panels were fun, the staff were nice, the other guests were wonderful, the fursuits were fluffy (and sometimes damp) and the gentle breeze was most welcome!

I was interested to see what the Twitter incident was that the staff were instructed not to engage in any dialogue on over the radio XD

It was a great weekend all over and I hope to see you all again next year!

Ohhh, and was it just me or were the upper floors built to be saunas or something?
as you climbed up the stairs the temperature seemed to climb with you.

Another One!!!  :o
It is tragic that if I get to meet up with any of the Irish furries at Confuzzled it will actualy be the first time I encountered any of them even though I joined the Irish Furries forums.

Room & Transport Sharing / Room Sharing Company!
« on: February 14, 2012, 06:04:19 »
As before I would much prefer to share a room with someone I know as opposed to someone I meet on the day. So much fun as a lottery assignment sounds where everyone is a winner I'd like to find someone to share with as soon as I can.
So, if anyone has interesting in spending time getting to know me and happens to have be staying in residence from Friday to Monday in a twin room I would love to hear from you!
I have Skype and Messengers and... Things. I am sure we can work out how to get in touch through here.

So. let's say as a matter of pure speculation someone who believed that they had saved a copy of vital emails such as ones containing for instance their password and badge number was to clean their entire email inbox not knowing that they had not in fact done any such saving.
Let us also assume that they did not realise that the important emails were gone until their trash had been idiomatically emptied.
would the email they used to get a replacement be registration@confuzzled.org.uk?

Whoo!! never mind.
Purely speculative situation as been resolved by exploring the cached information which for some reason the purely speculative individual who might experience this trouble almost never purges

How about a pass-the-parcel game, it would be more difficult to unwrap with paws?
I would personally make sure the last one is sealed in duct tape ^_^
then I'd heat shrink it. :D

You awful, awful people :P

You could need to worry too much about claws no? unless people use razer blades for them. Just use a small dox for the base and wrap it bottom to top then top to bottom alternating with each layer to the but you are trying to catch hold of to open each time is always at the other end from the next one. As long as you don't use tissue paper you should be fine then. no?
