Events / Re: Canines vs Felines Variants

Yes, indeed! those events were great!
I think it was good of the cats to allow the canines to win after the canines admitted they were all prostitutes XD
So good of us we should have retroactively been awarded victory I the empathy round which would have resulted in us winning!

I'd love to play CAH ^.^

Looks like I shall be embarking upon the grand adventure that is random room sharing!
Oh well. Can't say I didn't try to avoid it... Is this a sign that the fates are against me?
No knife wielding maniacs or aspiring taxidermists signed up this year right?
Is my paranoia showing?

I'm still looking for a room sharing person.
I'm much like you, no extra days, standard twin.
don't smoke, drink socially, and I might have a suit with me.
If you like I wouldn't mind chatting to you on skype or by just about any other means I can get to work.

A similar game happens in the airport :P
You can spot the furries without much difficulty ;)

Ahh ha! I forgot I needed to do this.
So, Irish, male, none smoker and repeat attendee of Confuzzled that is really unlikely to be out until 5am partying or worse, up until 5am partying in the room while you are trying to sleep. I generally try to see as little of the inside of the room as I can, probably only going there for sleeping, changing and recovering the use of my legs.

Ideally looking for someone that is in their late 20s or early 30s so I don't end up either feeling ancient or looking even more immature than I already am. I'm not fussy though.

ohh being a scatterbrain I forgot to mention Skype or other convenient two way means of communication. Generally speaking I prefer to have chatted to whoever I am going to be spending a few days sharing a room with at least once before meeting up for the first time. Just a general hello to find out what people look and sound like and make it easier to track you down and be sure we are talking to the right person on the day.

Feedback / Re: Headless Fursuiters...
« on: June 11, 2013, 11:50:25 »
I don't think this debate will ever end but if it was a case of 'social deheadding'' then that does need to be pointed out and stopped before it becomes a new ''thing''.

Actualy the debate ended when Rizzo made this statement:
...the simple facts are that there is not now nor will there be a written policy that people have to agree to, to NOT take their heads off.  This would be applying a very strict dress code which could both be very difficult to actually police, and also would be an incredible breach of personal choice of attendees.
snipped for length.

At this point people are just sharing their opinions which wont have any impact on policy at all.
and I seem to recall there have been pretty much identical threads in the past and those didn't have any impact either.
I can't help but wonder why people think fursuiters owe them something... Why should fursuiters sacrifice any aspect of their enjoyment in an event they payed to attend and got no special treatment just to spare someone elses seeing what is behind the mask?

I'd love to see security trying to enforce this...
What would they have to do? walk up to headless fursuiters and ask, "Are you dieing/dehydrated/overheated/sick or otherwise in some way impaired?
No?
Then put on your head or get out of the con!" XD

I mean really. Fursuiters do it because it is fun no? If you start dropping rules and regulations on their shoulders that are only for the benefit of others rather than the suiters how long will it remain fun?

Announcements / Re: Fursuit Conbadge registration open!
« on: April 26, 2013, 16:42:02 »
I'm not totally sure how to interpret 'priority will be given to actual fursuit photos over artwork'
Rather than a photo of the suit I'd like to use the same image I used for my actual Confuzzled badge which wasn't a photo. Will that be acceptable?

Also would it be permissible to pay the 2 pounds for a second badge to be given to someone else that wont be able to make the con this year? (so they have have their little piece of it anyway)

Room & Transport Sharing / Seeking a Room Sharing Person!
« on: September 23, 2012, 23:37:06 »
This shall be my third time off in Confuzzled and since I have had nothing but good experiences sharing a room with total strangers during the con I am once again I am in need of a room partner person!
So, at the time the con will be happening I will be
a 30 year old,
non-smoking,
male,
coming across from Dublin, Ireland!

Not likely to use the room for anything other than sleeping and changing and storing whatever I buy and hope I can fit into my case.
Definitely hopeful to have a reasonable costume with a new and better fursuit head and paws!

So, the idea of asking really early is to trade Skype names and all that and get to chatting and getting to know one another before we end up spending a few days in an enclosed space together.
So if anyone out there is keen on getting to know me and potentially spending the night or more likely early mornings, in Confuzled sleeping in the same room as me let me know!

Discussion / Re: CF Reg Numberwang!
« on: September 12, 2012, 21:06:23 »
Hmmm. My favorite number is 1... I believe that badge belongs to Matt.
I think people might notice if I replaced him >.>
Unless... I have an exact mechanical duplicate of Matt made and then have my Brain Jar inserted into it!
Yes!
It could work!
There is absolutely no situation I can envisage in which being a brain in a jar isn't awesome!
But for now, my badge number is 275
I should probably stop being crazy until /after/ someone has agreed to share a room with me...
