Hi Im a bit of a Furry newbie and am thinking of attending Confuzzled 2013 to try it out and meet new people with similar interests to me (animals, animation, books) I live in the area (Hinckley) and some af last years attendees came to our restaurant, and they seemed so nice I wanted to meet them properly. I havent registered yet but it will probably be non residential when I do. Any advice for a newbie would be most welcome and I look forward to meeting you all!

Ah well welcome aboard :) It wouldn't have been the feeeeeesh restaurant would it? I tend to visit the places in Lutterworth far more then Hinckley itself.

Naw the Harvester down the road, cheap and cheerful!

Well if you do decide to come along be prepared for a LOT to be going on. Not only will there be a very comprehensive schedule for events, there is an onsite pool, lots of dances to attend and a lot of socialising. Best thing is pace yourself. Don't try and do it all as you will burn yourself out trying.
And follow the basic 6-2-1 rule, this is six hours of sleep a night, two full meals a day and at least one shower. People have so much fun enjoying themselves they do forget to eat, sleep and shower.
