We could probably do with some illuminated props as well, the light sabres were very effective this year! :)

You were safe to turn around within the marked out photo area, though as you were being lit with flash guns, your sillhouette would've just been a picture of your bum! :) :) :)

We'll have to experiment with mirrors/previews, the light of a preview screen may upset the photos, but it may be too dark to see yourself in a mirror! Maybe a screen showing the last shot, with a blackout switch on it?

We will experiment, if demand is this high again, we may find we can offer more than one session as well! :)

Next year will be a whole different setup, but now we know there is some interest from people in getting these photos done, we will make it more of a thing (background blackouts etc.), essentially this year's setup was the nightclub first and foremost, and a photo backdrop secondly! :)

We can certainly look in to a preview, even if it's a good old fashioned mirror! I appreciate that most people wouldn't have known what was going on behind them! :)

There was also a request on the day for a very large group shot we couldn't accomodate, so we'll look in to that as well! :)

Great photos! :) I am massively impressed with what you and EZ_wolf managed to achieve with the lighting! :)

And yeah, the turnout was a little overwhelming this year, but big props to the con staff, and all the Acoustic Armageddon crew (Alec, Kyanno, Utlah, Kneezle, Ceil, Bear, HouselightsDave others I've probably forgotten, sorry!),  who immediately leapt in to action and got a great system going in a matter of minutes, so we could deal with the crowds! :)

Also big thanks to Djem for lending us his laser again this year! :)

As Tom said, more than happy to run this again, and we'll make it bigger and better and with more toys! :)

I liked the lunch buffet thing in the bar, quick pile of chips was an easy lunch!

Breakfast was spot on, I like a breakfast that isn't shy on the mushrooms!

Loved the mobile drinks service, always seemed to appear when I wanted a drink, and did us some very good deals on multiple purchases! :)

I think the advice my ski instructor always gave for ski lift queues applies to group photos:-

"Queue with your elbows"

I'll suggest Circus again, only because of the dead easy theming! I do realise that it won't be popular, as it doesn't allow the opportunity to bring guns and knives! :)

Of course feel free to use and abuse photos, no credit is demanded, as the photos really aren't very good, and I don't have those issues!

From all the thousands I've seen so far. The issue of people without heads ruining photos doesn't seem very apparent.
Wish I could say it was an exaggeration, Yag. I have spent ages just splitting video with the headless folks in them.
If you look at my tweets from yesterday, you'll see what I am talking about. http://t.co/u5feepJINK

It must have been the rush hour or something :(

Not authorised to see that. But I was talking about photos rather than video, I haven't looked at any videos. I've been throuh several thousand of peoples photos, and can't say I'm seeing a lot og headless suiters. I'm guessing photos are probably set up and framed better than video is, as they're less dynamic.
