yeah I found that a little puizzling too, but it's written on the store tags.
Also feel free to ask the staff in the shop. they can probably offer alternatives. allthe ones I saw were about the same price anyway and underarmor was still recomended as probably the best but there are quite a few diffrent things that do effectivly the same thing.
I am still looking for a balaclava myself.
But you can't go wrong as long as you read the tags.

As mentioned Under Armor does indeed come in two lines.
The cooling line of under armor is called HeatGear.
The heating line of under armor is called CoolGear.

the diffrence between the two is on the inside.
If you feel the inside of the CoolGear it is very rough
if you feel the inside of the HeatGear it is very smooth.

I recently got a set of heatwear myself and by gods it works but it is not something for fearfully modest. All I can say is thank goodness for a thick layer of fluff going over it.
I payed about 65 Euro for a set or top and pants. I plan on getting a second set so I don't need to worry about washing it during the con though I am told this can be done fairly quickly and easily anyway.
I am terribly inexperianced in fursuiting so I am basicly just passing on what I have heard and have no idea if there are better options out there or how these will really hold up when the real test comes.
What I really want to find myself is a good balaclava. The one I have is far to heavy and if I can get one with a mouth opening so much the better. Less of a fuss to take a drink of life preserving water.

<edit>Ohh! and there are tags on the inside collar that distinguish the heat gear from the cool gear. :P Yeah. Handy those tags.</edit>

Also, you can have lots of fun finding out where your blind spots are! Lots of the videos on youtube talk about the limited field of vision in terms of how narrow it is. I have yet to see any mention how some some only have a field of vision to either side but are totaly blind to what is directly ahead of them :P
I neglected that tiny factor putting mine together. It resulted in a chipped nose.

Yes.
Shyness was an issue here too.
Still, I got lots of hugs in and that was great ^.^
and no phantom tail syndrome for me, probably because I kept forgetting mine was there and sitting on top of it :P

when i got there on the friday didnt have a clue what to do, but after meeting up with a couple people and putting my fursuit on for the first time in public, i slowly figured it out.

Heh. when I go there I spent a long, long time sitting in the front recepion, watching all the people in tails and suits and eventualy worked up enpugh courage to put on the tail ^.^
It didn't take too long after that for me to get to the point I had to put on my head and paws, hense fumbling for and then dropping my phone while trying to find Mino after he arived :P

the biggest achievement for me was after the 'your first con' panel, i went back to my room, put on my fursuit and spent the next 40mins wandering round in it on my own.

Yes. the suits are fun!
I'll settle for the achievement of actualy, finaly going to a furcon.
It was endless fun!
the six hours a night rule didn't last long... Sorry about that Mino >.< although you did get the room to yourself for one entire night ^.^

all in all was an awesome weekend, met some great people, so roll on the next one.

< Has started saving already
I look forward to seeing everyone that isnt sick of me again next year ^.^

The only down side was that I failed to find either of the other Irish people registered to go. v.v
ohh and walked into pillars chipping my nose >.<
and the outstretched arm of someone that was giving direction....
and a photographer....
and a chair...
and...
Well, so on so forth.
ohh, larger eyes in head 2.0...

I was trying on my fursuit head to be sure it still fit.
You know, in case mine has expanted, or shurnk, or drasticly changed in dimention, and as I was doing that I noticed something hanging right in front of the eye. To cloose for me to propperly focus on, so I tried to brush it away, turned out it was inside the head....
Then it started moving....
Spiders are for good luck right?

Hmmm... and out of curiosity, just because you happen to  have a tag there that has tone in it, is there any kind of limit on that, 4 or 5 shades and does an image have to be set up to work with it or will any monochromatic pictue work?
ohh and do the dog tags have that same option?
