Totally random uber off topic question but I don't suppose anyone attending the con has any old 512MB or 1GB DDR PC2700 333MHz laptop memory modules laying around from a broken laptop of something that I could buy?

I'm in dire need of cheap ass memory for my slug of a laptop lol

I have an actual laptop, bought September 2006 that died :/ You're very welcome to take it apart if you want it. I'm not sure if it would have the parts you need though. I have no idea why it died, something to do with overheating, though.

I have no idea if it has what you need, but yeah, its just gonna get binned otherwise. I don't have the power cable anymore though >__< But anyways, if you want me to bring it, I could give it you the Friday when I'm setting up in the dealers den?

Sounds good to me but if you are able to just take the memory out of it then that would save you from having to lug the whole thing with you to the con. :)

I have noooooooooo idea how XD I'm not very computer lilterate, so I'll bring the whole thing. If you can't use it, no worries as its trash to me anyways u__u I miss my laptop ;___;

Whenever computer trouble strikes me, eBay's pretty much always the first place I look. Then I get put off by the fact that the prices are still quite high despite it being used and put up with my 9 year old technology.

On the plus side, at least slow computers have enough RAM to play Doom. That's all anybody needs in the grand scheme of things.
