Off-Topic / Why not confuzzled.org ?

Out of idle curiosity rather than any particular desire to change, why does CFz's domain use the .uk suffix, rather than just being confuzzled.org ?

Is it down to that's how it started out and no-one is bothered about changing it ? Are there technical reasons ? Is it down to needing a budget to afford the domain (as it still seems to be available) and there are better things to spend it on ?

With EF using the .org suffix, I was just idly musing why CFz hasn't gone the same way.

I was just wondering if there was anyone who lived anywhere near Cambridge who is driving to this con. If so I would ask to hitch a ride and pay for fuel. If no one can it is no big deal.

tl;dr : CFz has arranged a substantial discount - £4 per exit - so if you park your car there on the first day and leave it there for the whole con, you'll only pay £4

Are the dates on the site wrong, or will the con really be going from Friday to Tuesday? Seems a little strange to end on a Tuesday.

The dates are correct. Monday 26th is the Spring Bank Holiday - so I guess they're making best use of it

It was officially Purple Rain.

As for proportions, sorry but now I do not know.  However, I think if you just use a little google-fu you should be able to locate the real names of all these drinks based on their content, and also the measurements.

I think I managed to get all of the original names listed above, apart from "Black Cat" and "Frog in the Boot"... any ideas what those were officially called ?

I know that there are a few interesting ideas on how to make the pre-show experience better next year.  We'll see how those pan out.

I believe the plan is to have Codewolf juggling flaming torches whilst Dhary dances a jig dressed as a pirate, complete with wooden leg and eyepatch...

...or maybe I'll be missing my spleen by next year

I know this one as 'Blue Lagoon'.

I think most are just renamed versions of existing cocktails, so you can just look those up for the appropriate proportions.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong (cocktails aren't really my forte), but I think some of them are as follows:

"Dirty Mare" - White Russian
"Moscow Mule" - actually called a Moscow Mule  
"Big Brave Bull" - Brave Bull
"Horny Bull" - Gold Driver
"Wild Anaconda" - Anaconda
"Virgin Vixen" - Cheeky Vimto
"Woof Woof" - Woo Woo
"Sex on the Beast" - Sex on the Beach

Or have the fursuiters arranged (roughly) in order of height, tallest at the back like an old school class photo? 

With around, I believe, 250 suiters, this would have been an interesting, not to say lengthy process
