Title: Registering a Lightsaber with Con Ops

I've recently got a lightsaber replica which I would like to bring to the convention, but I know there is a policy regarding cosplay weapons. What's the procedure I will have to go through to allow me to have my lightsaber during the con?

If you bring the light sabre to con ops/security they will be able to check that they are happy with you having the item and if tjere are any limitations on use (such as for costume use only, no sabre battles in the hotel) and mark it by attaching a temporary cable tie.

This tells is in security that the item has been checked and stops us taking you back to con ops office over and over :)
