YAY!!!!!!!! lots of new furs to meet!!!!!!!

It's going to be a nice size. Not as big as some of the larger US cons, but not too small either. Really looking forward to it.
-
well, worst case scenario would be >900 attendees :-) but right: it's not as overwhelming as, say, Anthrocon. Though quite fascinating by sheer size I found it a bit difficult to get in contact with individuals. Let's see how it comes out at confuzzled. Definitively looking forward to it (translates into: hopping around like a squirrel on steroids)
cheers

AC is quite overwhelming, yeah. It's a great con and I'll no doubt make another trip to it someday, but due to the sheer size of the crowd ( not to mention the enormous venue ), you can often end up with a situation where you randomly meet some very interesting folks but then never see them again for the duration of the weekend. I think CF, being a smaller con with a smaller venue, will make getting to know new people somewhat easier as you'll keep coming across the same groups on a regular basis. At the same time, having 500+ attendees means you'll still get a considerable con 'buzz' :)

It's good to see that so many people have registered this year, and there's still plenty of time for more people to do so, that means the number will most likely get even higher. :D
Lets hope the con continues to grow.

Let's hope it hits 600... or even more. Will be great to fill up all the rooms!

The theoretical residential limit for the Hotel, if all of the Twin rooms (which have two double beds) are used for four people sharing and nobody has a Single room, is 986 people. Conversely, if none of the Twin rooms are used for four people sharing, it reduces to 716 people (again, assuming nobody has a Single room).
So yeah, a little while to go before we run out of space ;-)
-
I thought 666 was the limit if nobody shares twin rooms?
-
The hotels limit and what we limit the spaces too also differ so it really doesnt matter what the theororetical limits are and this isnt really the place to discuss such things anyway.
-
I'd have been happy if I'd gotten 404 just to say I was an error :D

As Lev said, the limits on the capacity actually vary. The most important thing of all is that we have met our contracted capacity figures, which makes the hotel most pleased with us! More importantly, it gives us much more flexibility for asking for more because they know we are bringing them a lot of business.
Just for arguments sake however, capacity on the hotel is (based on ALL rooms being used and to full capacity) 994, so we are certainly doing very well! And the thanks goes to all you guys!
Cheers,

Although it's not the total capacity really is it should there be a lot of non residential attendees.

So far I only count 15 "non-residential" (+1 non confirmed)
