Off-Topic / Re: Stupid Question
« on: April 08, 2012, 16:38:49 »
Could be anything unfortuantly.
At the moment we have had everything from really warm sunny days to snow within a week. Of course we wont be having snow by the con time but its never that simple XD

Generally speaker cool cloudy weather is the norm for around then, last year we did have some rain but we have also had really hot weather for some confuzzled's. Best thing you can do it check online weather reports for the area before you leave.

Room & Transport Sharing / Re: Room Mate needed!!

Please look in the other threads there are others with people needing roommates

Worth mentioning I guess your not tying the person who might buy the ticket into room sharing with you one would assume.

The event is not general attendance its an over 18's event (the whole con that is).

Also the art show will be segregated and it was not implied it wouldn't be.

The problem with censoring for the auction is more a logistical one. The way the show and auction work means that until the close of the art show we don't know which pieces of art will make it into the auction. This means there is no advance warning so we cant censor or have artists censor their work in advance it has to be done as we enter them into our auction systems. We will always try our best but last year there was an incredible amount of art to process and the time it takes to do it all ready for the auction means we have to prioritise. But as stated we do not really want artists to feel pressured into censoring their work which some hold personal and expressive.

As for the view on raising money, we favour no type of art. It has been in no way implied that we favour adult art for making money. But in a similar way we will not discriminate either as we want to cater for all interests.

If someones being taken by their father then they should already make him aware of what there will be there after all adult art doesnt worry some people as much as 2 guys holding hands does. The assumption that older people will be more offended by such things is a bit of a silly thing anyway everyones different.

Surely the best thing is try and see who is interested first, if its only a small group then a single room will be enough space for you its not like your going to be playing vore twister or something that needs loads of space. Also might be worth finding out how big a single room actually is. I dont know the dimentions myself but since hotels often just book 1 person into a normal double and call it a single (being the most cost effect way to have the most beds in a hotel) you might find your in a larger room than you think anyway.

p.s is there a cut off date for paying the attending fee. ??? probaly going over old ground thow are barking up the wrong tree.

You'd need to double check with the reg team but I think the cut off date for attending only is a week or so before the con. Dont quote me on that, quote someone else ¬.¬

Hi there, nice to meet you.

Just though I would say hi as myself and quite a few of the confuzzled staff live in Cheshire.

The £75 fee is if you are attending in the day but do not want a hotel room yes. This means you have to leave at the end of each day and sleep elsewhere but are welcome during each day time.

If your comming on the first day the doors of the venue will be open to accept people in from the morning onwards. We hope to have registration open in the morning too so if you are travelling down on the first day you should be able to just arrive and register given the distance you are travelling.
