Hi!

While we would discourage you from doing this in the board games room, you could set up in the new "party / social games" room that we're trying out this year. This is a separate room running nightly that we've created for games that are a little bit more noisy, such as Cards Against Humanity.

Of course, we still ask that everyone remains considerate to other users of the room (don't make me quote Rule 1 from the Conbook) so please don't let things get out of hand.

Hope it works out for you  :)

It has to be said we'd still like to know how much interest there is in this to gauge numbers etc, so if this does interest you please do say!

Aaaah *thanks the Confuzzled fairies for the putting the notice up*

I'm currently planning on buying enough product for an 8 seat pod, but I don't mind buying enough to run 2 sets of 8 seat pods. I just need to see at least 12 confirmed people who would want to do this. It would need to reach that number before I order boosters to be delivered in time for Confuzzled, which probably means the 11th May.

Consider this as something of a challenge for you all ;P

Events / Magic: The Gathering Draft

So the ever lovely Vulpine has volunteered to run a MTG draft at Confuzzled this year. Journey into Nyx will be out by then so I assume people would prefer a Theros block draft :) Cost will be at most £15 for entry, with standard prize support. It is currently scheduled for the Friday night to start at 8:30pm.

Anyone interested? I need to gauge interest so I can work out how many boosters to buy.

Off-Topic / UK Games Expo
« on: March 01, 2014, 22:35:17 »
For those of a board gaming persuasion I'd like to point out that the UK Games Expo follows hot on the heels of Confuzzled. It is being held in the same hotel the weekend after Confuzzled finishes. This will be my first time going but friends who have been have generally said that they enjoyed it.

Can I interest anyone in joining me for an after-con con? I've already got late departure (28th May) and was hoping to check right back into the hotel, staying until the 1 June. A twin room for 2 people at time of writing is £106 per night. For the con itself the entry ticket is £20 for 3 days. All the details are on the website:
