Hey Hey! Calling all Furries!
Plans are coming more and more together for this music video.
I like to keep things simple but we want as many bodies as we can.
We want to stage this video like a Red Carpet Runway.

Mr. Mikepaws will be our camera man.
Got a fursuit? Great! We can feature you doing a few poses/moves in the video. Don't worry if you aren't sure if you've 'got the stuff' I'm here to direct and make it fun.
Got a camera? Cool! You can have you on the side as the paparazzi taking pictures of all the 'stars' on the runway.
Got a sketch book? Be an admiring fan and cheer for the fursuiters and ask for their autographs.
This event is scheduled into the convention so we all know when to meet up and where.

I hope as many people show up as possible. Tell your friends. I want this video to really capture the enthusiasm of your convention.

I would probably suggest the Rotundra serves up the best space for something like this in that it is rather picturesqu. Outside there is the lake as well, which might be nice, but there isnt much walk around space unfortunately, it is mostly car park and road.
I imagine if we made this an event, you could have a very good attendance and it would be scheduled in the program, giving you advanced advertising for it. A very nice idea. If you do wish to run this as a proper scheduled event, do let me know so it can be submitted under fursuit track :)

Most people will have to enter the ground floor of the Rotunda to get to their hotel rooms, so you might have problems filming there for long stretches without people in the way. You might be better with filming from the balconies of the Rotunda, since you should be able to block off one segment of it if you really needed to.

I'm sure for the short amount of time that folks would need access to the area for this, arrangements can be made for foot traffic control. Really not that big of a deal for something that has so much potential for attendees to have a good time and get involved.

I also need to find a person with a video camera. :3 Any volunteers
I know a fur from the UK who is a professional camera operator but so far he is not sure if he will be able to attend CF
Maybe we will be lucky and he can come ....

Alright so been thinking a bit more!
Mr. Fairlight says Deezleberries is offering to film this little project.
The Song will be "Do Your Thing" by Basement Jaxx (a personal favorite)
I Will need someone who can provide a portable stereo or boombox so we can hear it while we make the video.
I want this video to be about all you guys. Just Doing your own thing.
You don't have to impress me you just have to show energy and unique-ness. Be yourself! Be your own star!
I'm under the impression that there will be a red carpet at this convention. I want to treat this as a Catwalk for the video.
We'll film multiple takes of fursuiters doing their own dance by themselves in catwalk style. Meaning, show some sass, work it, and Walk it out.
So like 10-20 second takes will be needed.
We'll likely film it all on one night after main events for the day are over.

Might have a portable speaker thing that has an MP3/IPOD connection if that would help.

I am most definately in!
I would lend you my Block Rocker, but I'm very protective of it so it will be in my room most of/all of the convention.
If you really can't find any other option though, I'll be there as a back up.
But yes, count one green and white monster dancer. ;D

I think to get the best organization possible we will have to hard schedule this as an official event.
I shall get with the programming to work that through.
I'll need help in deciding whats a good time during the day to do this.

And ya know what? If you haven't got a camera you can still help out! You'll just need a marker and a piece of paper

Yeah screaming fans and paparazzi too will be great to fill in the setting!
I think we have someone else on the official camera which should just be on a tripod anyways.
We could possibly have a second angle though.
Maybe an up close spectator cam.
OR
An Up Close glamour cam! With viciously fabulous angles. The filmographer would have to get on the floor and get real dynamic poses.
then we can edit that in with the stationary camera footage.

I wish I could, but I haven't danced since I was 13 or so. :/ Unless you're a miracle worker and it'll be like the Ugly Duckling, but with dance...
I look forward to the end result though!

Unless you have need of a car-monster specifically? Chaffeur for the 'stars'? Now I feel like I'm being pushy though D:

I'll (hopefully!) have my fursuit ready by then plus I do have a 'suit' which I can bring along to wear, plus I've got performing arts training, can act as well as dance (mostly!)
Wouldn't mind being an extra either in any sort of way!
Also I can be pretty handy with a camera and wouldn't mind filming or assisting the shoot in any way possible! ^_^

Mmm, yes, I think I could pull off running around and begging furs for autographs very well.
Especiallyforyou,Mangusu,IwillscreamandfallatyourfeetjusttogetyourattentionandthenproceedtostalkyoulikeacreeperbecauseI'mabigfanandIwantyoutonoticeme.
Although my camera is too pitifully small and cheap to look good even with the most devious and mind-spinning camera angles, so I'll stick with waving my sketchbook around, I think.

I checked the timetable and noticed the music video overlaps with the BannerBrawl for 15minutes. Since I'll be on stage I can't just leave before that, so I am pondering either to step back for the video or rush like maniac after to you after the BannerBrawl :S

What is the Banner Brawl?

Banner Brawl is one of the main stage event where two teams of artists, usually guys v's the gals, go head to head at speed drawing random subjects drawn out of the art.
I imagine that Banner Brawl will start very much on time with it being an early first event, so shouldnt see Neo being to late :)
