Hey everyone, this is just to repost what was sent out in an email to all attendees. :)
-------
Hi Everyone!
With only two weeks to go we wanted to let you know that we have a very fine selection of items, including some exclusive one of a kind items, and some very unique ones up for sale for our charity auction for the badger trust.
The reason we're letting you know this is because we also wanted to hear from you if you have any items you'd like to auction off for charity.
If you do, please let us know at artroom@confuzzled.org.uk as soon as you can!
Masquerade:
We're still after talented people to do any act at the masquerade, be it a comedy act, musical act, puppet act or simply just showing off your fursuit.
If you're interested, the deadline has been extended until the 11th June, just email back to this address if you are!
And Finally,
Don't forget to check your email in a week for the final ConFuzzled email!
Yours,
CF Team.

Just to ask, I am just about to start work on one final piece of art for confuzzled artshow which will be a charity Item. As mentioned somewhere else on the forum can I use this as the donation for the dealers den instead of the £10 donation? The minimum bid on the item will be £10 anyway.
-
Fine by me, as long as it's a 100% charity donation on the final total, or at least £10 minimum.

Most of my Items are the artshow will have minimum bid's of £10, this will be no exception. The item will like all my other work will be framed (the cost of which will come out of my own pocket).

Just a question but does it have to be art for the auction? I have some plushies and books and such I'd like to donate, if possible D:
-
I don't see a problem with that, but won't that be the sort of stuff you would sell in the dealers den? You can always donate the moneys from selling those there is you like :)
-
I'm only selling art, I think, though I know lynx wanted to bring books and stuff. Thanks for clearing that up, anyways!
-
You can enter it into the auction if you like, either or really :)
-
I have donated a comic with a few other things for the auction, anything so long as it will make our charity money, its furry and its legal should be fine!

a question of artistic mediums
--------------------------------------
i have a question, what art mediums are acceptable?
paint?, wood?, crayon?(purrhaps not), felt?, pastle?, other pen based meduims?
i feel some people might like to know what are the allowed art mediums for this auction?
-
Pretty much anything goes, medium-wise! If you want to do pottery for example, that'd be fine too :) Just bear in mind that whoever wins the piece has to get it back home by car / train / plane even!

In fairness thats not really an issue. If you do pottery its the other furs decision if they want to bid and if they do then they should know how they are getting it home shouldnt they. If someones flying home with ryanair and decides to bid on a glass vase thats their bad choice ;)

deer souls,
maybe i could bring something for the auction, if i could find a nice big good clean
plushie, a reasonable sized one, i'm going to start looking for something nice, i
hope i can find something. i'm going to keep my paws crossed, if not i may try
to paint (ROTFL), i'll just have to wait and see.
feera fox
-
news from feera fox, i have got an item for the furry auction so now
what do i do now, bring it yes i know that. just whats next? what is
now required from feera. but i'm not sure which charity i sould put it
in for as both are very good causes :) much huggles and purrs to all
-
If the item is won by someone at auction, then the cut for charity is divided up equally between the two charities.
-
As far as I understand all charity money is pooled together for all events and general takings then split up between charities. So no one has to worry about how the charity money is sorted
-
Thank you everybody for your clearing these things up, i just love animal charities
for me they're better than human ones, after all i'm a fox
