I don't think my wallet would stretch that far even if I elasticated it. I don't have late departure either so that's me effectively ruled out. 
Eurogamer is the only gaming expo I'm ever realistically able to attend in the UK owing to financial constraints.
Good luck if you manage to go though, and I hope there's plenty of fun stuff for you plus whoever you share with!

Will it change the look of the venue or are you required to bring or to be something to do with The World Tomorrow? Sorry if i don't find it clear.You have to bring your own time machine and perpetual reality bending unit in order to make the most of the convention
Seriously though, you don't have to do or bring anything specific to the theme. It's not mandatory, but things like the sponsors tiered gifts, some events or some peoples costumes might be themed. Some might even be fursuiting in themed attire!:)
My advice, if you're not sure is just to wing it, and enjoy the ride. No need to purchase a new wardrobe!

I've got an appalling 1 litre Corsda D 5 door. Hopefully I'll be upgrading in the near future. It's useless for anything other than pottering around the towns near my house. Even Glasgow is nearly too far for it.
