Hi Furble!

A lot of us old timers are still around too, so you'll be in good stead. The average age of our attendees may be (mostly) stationary year on year but us staff are just getting older and with more grey in our fur ;)

I am so pleased you'll be attending ConFuzzled again. It's been far too long, and CFz is now quite different, without sacrificing some of the elements you ensured were at the core of the con. Fun! Socialisation! And ridiculously silly memes ;)

I look forward to seeing you there, Furble, and hope to catch up :)

The add on price is per person so if you both want to stay the extra night, you both need to pay that cost.

I'm glad we did manage to work out what was causing it! And yeah, as you said, it would be a problem for those on mobile networks etc unless they're using proxies... I guess that when the reg system was first conceived, nobody thought of that. But yeah, we're going to do things differently in the new system :D

Exactly what SFW has said. However, bear in mind that we cannot expand the room block in the very near future. If anything, it'd be closer to the convention time. We strongly suggest you consider another option for an available room type to be safe, as there's no guarantee we'll get more rooms added, and even if we do, it could only be a handful.

Hi! This is merely a display bug in the system - I bet you paid via debit or credit card, and that £1.80 was the fee. It seems once you've paid, the listing there has "forgotten" about the fee so thinks you've overpaid. You haven't overpaid, it's just a bug I still need to fix!

Hi!

Yes, this is definitely on the cards. We didn't have time to include it for reg opening as we wanted to make sure the registration system itself was ready to take registrations first, as a priority, then get reg open. The reg team is nearly done with getting over the initial rush of registrations and once things are ticking over smoothly, I can see about adding in the counter. In the meantime, please keep an eye out on our Twitter account as we'll be announcing when we get close and when we hit the next tier!

By the way, if anyone is interested, this is a graph from the registration helpdesk ticket system - where all the emails to the Registration Team come in. This is why we're a little bit behind... Blue = new email tickets received that day. Gold = tickets closed that day.

Hi,

All the Executive and Suite rooms have access to the Executive lounge. The Executive lounge is open from 7am until 11pm Monday to Friday, and 7.30am until 10pm (with bank holiday service the same as weekend), you can head to the lounge at any time to enjoy light refreshments and snacks.  Breakfast and afternoon tea are both available.  Evening service is available from 6pm until 8.30pm Monday to Friday, and 6pm until 8pm Saturday and Sunday, during which includes complimentary alcohol.

This means that all of the above are available if you're in an Executive or Suite room.

Hi! Glad to see you're that eager to register!

Registration will be opening soon. Last year we opened mid-September. I think we'll be opening a little later than that this year (there're usually slightly different things how new venues like things to run compared to old venues) but not by much. I have no fixed date yet BUT it'll likely be sometime end of this month or early October.

More information on early arrival and late departure will be available on the full website when that goes live, which I expect to be very soon! I can't see why not, though there's the possibility it may work slightly differently this year, I don't know yet. I know that staff will want to be there earlier (to get stuff set up) so the likelihood of this being offered to attendees is very high!

I'm still trying to work out the best way of sorting out paying for other people. I think we'll probably stick with the voucher system again this year, even though I know it's not been the most intuitive way to do so. However we do it, there'll be a way of purchasing registrations for others, as I know that's a feature a fair few attendees use! :)


So, in short, I guess the summary is... please wait for the full website to go live for more details!

I think this would be best tackled by integrating it into Picnic (the registration system). It's already got details about attendees, why shouldn't fursuit badges be separate? :)

Nevertheless, we'd still need someone to code it. I'm not sure the current Picnic devs have the time to devote to it. So if you're interested in helping out in this regards, give a shout!
