CHILDREN
Unfortunately the hotel wasn't exclusive to the con, so there were kids running amuck, and two certain boys jumping at suiters and ended up damaging suits, as their parents just dumped the kids in the lobby and walked off leaving them unsupervised, (and lead to security staff having to watch over them, a very big thank you to Rwylin!!)
yes those boys were horrid, i did my best to keep them gentle with the suits but what with three of them and the little girl there theres so much i can do, im very sorry to those that had suits broken, but short of shouting full out at the kids there wasn't alot i could do, i did try and tell them alot to be gentle and had very stern words on quite a few occasions.
The farther came down and saw me having said stern words (this was i think the 4th time i had to) and pulled them all away.
I was in the reception area when the boys were running amok and took our space hoppers, I didn't want to chance them damaging my suit so I kept my distance.
It's not really the hotel's fault but down to irresponsible parents, the same sort of parents that let their kids run riot in supermarket aisles.
Most children visiting the hotel were well behaved and under their parents control.
