Hello again everyone,
This is a bit of an odd "hello" post for some people who will read this. 

So, let me tell you about myself. I'm from oop north in Manchester and I've been around the fandom for too long to mention, only recently starting to get back in to the groove of things after a crazy time IRL.

I've been around CFz for a very long time, in fact since before the con actually existed, as I'm the original con founder and was chairman from the get-go up to just before 2010s event. It's crazy how time has flown!

For the first time in years, I'll be able to attend next year and as it's the 10th one, I wouldn't miss it for the world.

I REALLY look forward to seeing all of you there, if we've met before or not. You'll see me around wearing /the/ one and only Brok tie!

Definitely can confirm: The theme was 2008 was 'holy cr*p, we did it'

Rishary is correct on both accounts. 2008's theme if anything was 'huh, we actually managed to make a con!'

I only have one complaint about Confuzzled. The waiting for it to start has been unbearable! Why can't the 27th come around sooner?

And now I'm going to complain voiceforously that it was over too quickly!

According to wikifur the theme of 2010 was "Science".

Guessing from the fact 2008 was the first one I don't think it had a theme, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm thinking of an idea for a picture for next year's Confuzzled, but I need to know the themes from the past few years to make it work. I've narrowed it down to the following;

2009 - Victorian Era
2011 - Roaring 20s
2012 - Hollywood
2013 - Medieval
2014 - World of Tomorrow
2015 - Alice in Wonderland
2016 - Carnival of the Night

Does anyone know the themes for Confuzzled 2008 and 2010?

Hi!

While we would discourage you from doing this in the board games room, you could set up in the new "party / social games" room that we're trying out this year. This is a separate room running nightly that we've created for games that are a little bit more noisy, such as Cards Against Humanity.

Of course, we still ask that everyone remains considerate to other users of the room (don't make me quote Rule 1 from the Conbook) so please don't let things get out of hand.
