Speak for yourself, LOL. I'm discussing bits of my costume for Dusk. He wears BDUs as standard. I'm getting a Sangluna badge to match and all.

Hehe. Well I'm always in BDU's, I'd give a shiny shilling to anyone who can find a picture of me in suit without at lease one piece of tactical gear. It's just how my suit is: Professional soldier for hire.  :D

Major issue is that part of Dusk's standard armament is his AK47 and Mk23 SOCOM assault pistol, both of which I own Airsoft versions of, but as they are RIFs (Replica Imitation Firearms), that although we are allowed to use them for Airsoft the Violent Crime Reduction act says they are not to be used in public since they are that realistic. So I can't bring them, even if unloaded and with no battery or gas.

Too illegal and too dangerous. Police seeing me with them can get me shot. And that would not be good for the Airsoft community or the furry fandom.

EDIT: Bouncing off walls now! I have paid for CF! I'm on my way!

Whilst I'm in no way completely familiar with the current laws on airsoft weapons (Despite being quite interested enough in the sport to own a Star L86 (That thing was expensive!)), I'm pretty sure that having the Mk23 at the venue, so long as it is in a holster, peace-bound and barrel-plugged, should be OK. The AK, I'm not so sure about, but the Weapons Policy says replica firearms must be holstered at al times in convention space, and I've yet to find an AK holster  :P. This might be something worth asking in the Q&A forum, that way you can get input from ConOps and Security, rather than just your friendly, gun-totting Media Relations  ;).

And for the record, the VCRA/B/Whatever just reiterates the "Don't be a fool and wave it around in public" bit that's been law since, well, a long time ago. Also, I think that if the police saw them and shot you, it wouldn't just be bad for airsoft and furry, but for you too ;D.

Sadder for the fandom I think. A tad more important than myself is the wellbeing of my friends. But the VCRA exemption just basically means "while guns like this are completely illegal now, only airsofters get an exemption".

The Mk23 may make an appearance in a holster while peacebound. The AK47 stays.

Also, my dad (Darkstar the wolf) has the Star L86 as well! Awesome gun! Not like the G&G version with the bolt that moves back and forth as you fire which then makes the internals break. LOL.

I really really want a fursuit, but i don't have much money.
Anyone who know about a fursuit maker, or is one, who can help me?
I've been trying to get someone to make me a fursuit for a long time, but noone answers my mails. Ive waited so long. Like months, and still no answers.
So, i finally gave up and write here instead.

I need a cheap, but good looking fursuit. (isn't that what all want? :P ). Well, the most important thing is that it's cheap.
I would really appreciate it if anyone have any tips or know who i can talk to (and that answers) to get one? :)

well, i do alredy have a partial homemade tiger fursuit ish thing. :P
But, it dosen't feel like a real fursuit. ^^
