Hi, I'm another musician. :) Though I'm more for acoustic stuff. I know a few furs are in the same circles as me musically, but I don't know if any of them are coming to CF next year.

Hopefully by the time 2010 rolls around I will have a better guitar! XD

Last year we have a music jam I provided some equipment with my stage rig but someone else brought an Accountic guitar so yoru welcome to bring your own gear. We arent sure if we are having a formal music session for Cf2010 yet but if we dont you can always start a topic here to find all the other musicians and arrange something or even run yoru own event!

I'm a pianist and wouldn't mind having some kind of jam.  Also, I know some cons like to have a keyboard set up in the lobby where people can just walk past and play at their leisure - will we be able to have something like this?

No we cant really have a keyboard in the lobby because of the way things work there, its need for co ops access the main desk access, the upper floors access, 1 sig room access the main bar is there and the access to the gym and pool so really its far too busy before we start planinng other things that we might need the space for.

Ah, well fair enough - I'd never want to block any access to anything.  I suppose I don't know what the venue space is like after all.  Still, it'd be something that'd be really nice to do somehow...somewhere.  Thanks for getting back to me on that.

I play the keyboard (in a hesitant, clunky sort of way).  I noticed in the other thread there was discussion about someone bringing one along, i'm travelling up on my own so there's plenty of space in the car to bring it if people think it would be a good idea?  It's pretty old now but still works reasonably well.   I also wouldn't mind joining in some sort of "Jam" thing, although i have never played with others before so it might be a terrible mistake (for all within hearing range!). 

I also enjoy messing around with stuff like Reason, perhaps if there's some others around with similar interests we could have a go at some sort of short collaborative project?
